1 Envelope Unflavored Gelatin
2 TBSP Boiling Water
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk, 14 oz. can
1.5 Cups White Chocolate Morsels
1 TSP Peppermint Extract
5 Cups Whipped Topping, divided
1 Store Bought Chocolate Pie Crust
6 Peppermint Candy Canes, crushed

Directions

*Laurie’s Comment: I did not take step-by-step pictures for this recipe as I was preparing 10 different food and beverage courses for a holiday party. But if you follow the instructions, you’ll do just fine!

Step 1: In a small dish, dissolve packet of gelatin in a small dish by adding the boiling water and stirring.

Step 2: On medium heat, combine the gelatin mixture with a can of Sweetened Condensed Milk and stir until warmed.

Step 3: Remove pan from heat and immediately add white chocolate morsels and peppermint extract. Mix until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Store the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 4: Add 3 cups of whipped topping to the mixture and fold in until fully combined. Pour the mixture into your pie crust. Store the pie in the refrigerator for two hours.

Step 5: Once pie is set, you can use a french tip with a pastry bag to pipe on the rest of the whipped topping. Or you can also just spread it over the top with a spatula instead.

Step 6: Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candy canes over the top of the pie.

Step 7: Serve and enjoy. Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
