One Skillet Tostadas

Tostadas are great when you have “individual tastes” in your home! You may build your tostadas the way you choose, with ingredients people prefer!

One Skillet Tostadas Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 6-8)

1 lb. Ground Beef
1 White Onion (small, finely diced)
1 can Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies (I used a 10 oz. can of Rotel)
1 can Pinto Beans (substitute black beans if preferred)
1 can Corn (or a cup of frozen)
1 small can Green Chilis
2 Tbsp Taco Seasoning
Tostada Shells
Shredded Cheese (I used cheddar-jack)

Directions

Step 1: Heat a large skillet to medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the ground beef, and cook for about 5 minutes until it easily crumbles. Remove the ground beef from the heat and set aside.

Step 2: In the grease that has come out of the ground beef, cook the onion for about 3 minutes, until soft. Add the ground beef back into the skillet.

Step 3: Drain the canned goods, and then add them all to the skillet. Season with the taco seasoning and mix together. Cook for 10 minutes on medium heat to meld flavors.

Step 4: Serve with your favorite taco toppings like salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese.
